What is built in Chesham
Chesham grew on industry rather than commuting, and its housing shows it. Behind the older high street there are streets of modest Victorian terraces built for people working in the town's brush, boot and brewing trades, with tall narrow frontages and sash windows as the original pattern. Do you work on houses on the steeper streets above the town?
