Questions we get asked in Hook
Are trickle vents compulsory on a replacement window?
Ventilation requirements under Part F apply to replacement work, and the surveyor confirms what the building actually needs rather than fitting vents to every opening. They are concealed rather than sitting as a visible plastic bar across the head of the window, so meeting the requirement does not spoil the look.
What does A+ actually mean on a Window Energy Rating?
