Sash windows supplied to Greenwich
A Georgian town centre inside a World Heritage Site, with Victorian streets running up the hill behind it.
The sash stock in Greenwich
Greenwich's centre and the streets around the park form part of a World Heritage Site, with Georgian and early Victorian terraces of considerable quality, extensively listed. Behind and above them, West Greenwich, Blackheath's edges and the roads toward Charlton are Victorian and Edwardian terraced and semi-detached housing, generously windowed, with the original opening pattern widely intact.
What we supply, and how it works
World Heritage designation raises the bar on the historic core and the consenting position governs it, so that has to be settled by the owner before anything is ordered. Where a replacement is agreed, the specification available is the full range: matched pane divisions, external astragal bars, slim sightlines, a deeper bottom rail and any heritage colour. Riverside exposure adds the weather case, where the water tightness figures and the weather bar matter.
This is a supply arrangement. You send a schedule of sizes, the windows are made to measure to it, and they are delivered kerbside to your address in Greenwich for your own contractor to put in. The sizes are yours, because the windows are built to the schedule you provide and nobody from our side has seen the openings.
What you control on the specification

- Detailing. Deeper bottom rail, sash horns included or omitted, Georgian bars inside the sealed unit or external astragal bars, and shaped frames including Gothic, swept head and true arch.
- Hardware. Eight finishes including Antique Gold, with inset finger pulls and D handles as options.

Questions we get asked about Greenwich
What performance figures apply near the river?
Water tightness is Class 7A at 300 Pa and air permeability Class 4 at 600 Pa under BS 6375-1, with wind resistance at Class C4 at 1600 Pa under BS EN 12211. A weather bar is mechanically joined to the bottom sash and colour matched to the frame, which is what throws water clear of the sill.
Is there a warranty on a supply-only order?
Yes, the 10 year warranty on the windows applies whoever installs them, with a certificate issued against your job number. Cover for the workmanship sits with your own installer, since the installation is arranged by you.
Other cities we deliver to
Delivery reaches the whole of Great Britain, so a city not listed here is still covered. See how supply-only orders work, or the areas where our own teams also handle the fitting.
