Sash windows supplied to Wandsworth
Victorian terraces in long consistent runs, with bays to the ground floor almost throughout.
The sash stock in Wandsworth
Wandsworth is dominated by late Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, laid out in long uniform streets through the Tonsleys, Earlsfield, Southfields and the roads between the commons, with bays to the ground floor and tall sash openings above as the standard pattern. Conservation areas cover many of the best preserved runs, and the borough's terraces are among the most consistent in south London.
What we supply, and how it works
Uniformity raises the stakes on the bay. In a street where every house has the same bay, one that has been flattened or reproportioned is visible from a long way off, and the geometry has to be captured accurately on the schedule for the frames to be built correctly. Beyond that, the specification levers are the pane divisions and the colour, with dual colour useful where a conservation area expects a particular external shade.
This is a supply arrangement. You send a schedule of sizes, the windows are made to measure to it, and they are delivered kerbside to your address in Wandsworth for your own contractor to put in. The sizes are yours, because the windows are built to the schedule you provide and nobody from our side has seen the openings.
What you control on the specification

- Detailing. Deeper bottom rail, sash horns included or omitted, Georgian bars inside the sealed unit or external astragal bars, and shaped frames including Gothic, swept head and true arch.
- Hardware. Eight finishes including Antique Gold, with inset finger pulls and D handles as options.

Questions we get asked about Wandsworth
What details does a bay need on the schedule?
The width of each face, the angles between them, and whether it is a splay bay with angled returns or a box bay with square ones. The frames are made to the geometry supplied, so an approximation on the angles produces a bay that does not close up properly.
Can the external colour differ from the internal one?
Yes, dual colour is available on any order. That matters where a conservation area expects a specific external shade but the rooms behind would be darkened by it, and it costs nothing in performance either way.
Other cities we deliver to
Delivery reaches the whole of Great Britain, so a city not listed here is still covered. See how supply-only orders work, or the areas where our own teams also handle the fitting.
